Greenfield Integrated Specialty Steel Facility
Led steelmaking strategic planning for the expansion of Timken's capabilities and the development of the Faircrest facility. Designed and implemented a six-level hierarchical computer control system integrating machine-level control, process control, process-area coordination, and plant-wide decision support.
Significance: Full plant-wide systems integration at a scale that was unprecedented at the time — one of the most advanced specialty-steel operations then in the world.
Process Control & Plant Systems
Manufacturing systems and process-control work for Goodyear tire production — applying the same hierarchical-control discipline developed in steelmaking to a different high-volume industrial environment.

Systems-engineering and planning work supporting the Voisey's Bay development — a roughly $7 billion mining and processing program. The kind of large, document-intensive capital project where execution planning carries the same knowledge-churn risk the platform was later built to address.

Litigation infrastructure across 80+ multi-district litigations representing roughly 400,000 to 500,000+ claimants — among the largest pharmaceutical (Baycol MDL 1431, Trasylol 1928, Actos 2299, Zantac 2924), toxic-tort (Roundup MDL 2741, Paraquat 3004, Deepwater Horizon 2179), and product-liability litigations in modern legal history. Product-liability clusters include the pelvic-mesh MDLs (nine interrelated dockets), IVC filters, and hernia mesh.
Innovation: Introduced grounded, AI-driven analytical methods when legal review was still overwhelmingly manual — refining the platform's two patents against the most adversarial information conditions in American law.

Selected through national search as the systems-engineering partner to overhaul Marine Corps depot maintenance across two primary logistics bases. Conducted a Business Objectives Analysis defining improvements across core maintenance processes, organizational structure, and supporting infrastructure.
Outcome: Positioned both depots to avoid closure under Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC), preserving critical Department of Defense maintenance capability.
Research Platform · Roman Catholic Church
Engaged by the Roman Catholic Church, the National Institute for Newman Studies, and the National Archives of Great Britain to build the knowledge and research infrastructure supporting Newman's canonization. Applied the firm's patented technologies to develop the Newman Knowledge Kiosk — integrating every published work, manuscript, and digitized artifact for scholarly analysis.
